Memorial Garden opened to remember PC Ian Terry

A MEMORIAL Garden has been opened to remember Greater Manchester Police officer Ian Terry.

On 4 September 2015, family, friends and colleagues stood shoulder to shoulder to remember Ian as the garden was unveiled.

It is outside the force’s firearms training complex at Claytonbrook, Manchester.

Greater Manchester Police¬†Federation representative Brian McGill, who attended the event, said: “Ian was a family man and is much loved and missed by his family, friends and colleagues.

“The garden will be a place for all to use to sit and reflect and relax.”

PC Terry was tragically killed during a training exercise in June 2008 at a warehouse in Manchester.

He was 32.
