A special event is coming soon to celebrate the life of PC Lewis Fulton.

Christine Fulton (pictured) is organising ‘A Night to Remember’ in June in memory of her husband, PC Fulton, who died twenty years ago this year. The evening will be held at the Scottish Police Recreation Association (SPRA) Club in Lochinch, Glasgow and will raise funds for COPS and the Scottish Police Memorial, the two charities described by Christine as “Lewis’s legacy to the police family”.

The event is being sponsored by the Scottish Police Credit Union and the Scottish Police Federation and Christine has been promised a variety of raffle prizes.

The SPRA Day will be held on the following day at Tulliallan, where the COPS cruiser will be on show.

Christine is pictured earlier this month at the Safe Positive Communities at Kilwinning Fire Station.

In other fundraising events, Claire Robinson held a charity golf day in memory of her late husband on 24 March, while Sandra Jones attended Thames Valley Women’s Network Day in Reading to sell COPS merchandise and encourage attendees to make donations.

“A big thank you to all the survivors who have taken time out to man stalls and put in such hard work on the events past and present,” says Sandra. “There continues to be a lot of fundraising activities planned and supported.”

If you have some time and feel that you may be able to support any fundraising activities please contact Sandra Jones
